For many specialties, although not all, our patients are offered a choice of referral to other healthcare providers using the NHS e-referral system. You will receive a letter inviting you to book your appointment; this will include your unique booking reference and your password. You may then select the healthcare provider of your choice and book your appointment. This may be done online or via the phone number provided in the letter.
If your doctor has referred you to a specialist for further care you will be asked to book your appointment using the ‘NHS e-Referral’ system.
You will receive a letter from us within 2 weeks giving details of how to book your appointment and any passwords you may need.
