Accessibility
Access to the surgery and to the consulting rooms is single level, there are no steps. Our patient toilet is equipped for wheelchair drivers. We have a high reception counter but our staff are happy to deal with your requests at the reception office door if you are a wheelchair user. There is also a hearing loop in reception.

- Telephone service is available during opening hours on Monday to Friday between 8am to 6.30pm.
- We are providing telephone and face to face appointments for our FCP (Physiotherapist) on Thursdays between 9am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 4pm.
- On occasion Coventry NHS organises staff training sessions for all Coventry GPs. On these occasions (usually Wednesday afternoons) you may find the surgery closed from 1pm to the following morning.
GP appointment times
Monday to Friday from:
- 9am to 12pm and 2pm to 5pm
Practice nurse appointment times
Monday to Thursday from:
- 8am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 6pm
Out of hours
Enhanced access
The practice also offers limited extended hour telephone and face to face appointments between:
- 6.30pm to 8.00pm Monday to Friday
- 9am to 12pm Saturday
You can arrange these appointments via our reception desk.
The GP alliance
GP Alliance offers sessions outside of core GP hours at the following times:
- Monday to Friday from 6.30pm to 9.10pm
- Saturday from 9am to 12pm
- Sunday from 10am to 1pm
These sessions are for patients who are unable to attend during core GP hours.
This service includes GP appointments and some nursing services such as:
- Cervical screening
- Contraceptive services
- Vaccines and immunisations
- Childhood immunisations
You can arrange these appointments via our reception desk.
Life threatening
Call 999 or go to A&E now if:
- you or someone you know needs immediate help
- you have seriously harmed yourself – for example, by taking a drug overdose
A mental health emergency should be taken as seriously as a medical emergency.
Urgent but not life threatening
Visit an urgent care centre if:
- You have an urgent medical issue requiring on the day attention
Non-urgent
Use NHS 111 if:
- You need help now, but it’s not an emergency
There will be someone to provide you with advice and to direct you to a clinician if it is necessary.
Walk in centre
The City of Coventry Walk-in and Healthcare Centre, Stoney Stanton Road, Coventry opens 8am until 10pm seven days a week.
- An appointment is not required for the walk-in Centre.
